The Spontbox team would like to start off the New Year by giving a special thanks to our customers! We are looking forward to another successful year ahead as we continue to improve our service to your satisfaction.
We would like to advise you all on how to upload videos and create playlists for your YouTube channel to display on your Spontbox channel.
In order to upload your own videos to YouTube, you must first make sure that you have access to a YouTube account. If you do not have one, you will need to set up a Google account. A Google account can be used for YouTube, Google+, Gmail, and any other YouTube platforms.
Once you log in to YouTube, select the "Upload" button so that you can upload any existing videos you have or any videos that you have produced. To ensure that your videos are streamed onto Spontbox, you will need to set your privacy settings to either "Public" or "Unlisted". If you have any "Private" videos, they will not appear on your Spontbox channel. Different videos can have different types of privacy on your YouTube channel.
After you have selected your privacy settings, click on the big arrow button and select the video that you want to upload from your files, or simply drag and drop the file. As your video uploads to your channel, you will be able to see its progress on a status bar. The video will then need to process after it has been uploaded, and you will be able to see its progress on a status bar as well. You can add titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnail images to your YouTube videos to be viewed on the web, but they will not appear on your Spontbox channel.
Spontbox can only display videos that you have compiled into a YouTube playlist. You can add a single video or multiple videos to a playlist. Playlists allow you to gather public content from around YouTube, even if they aren’t your videos, and feature them on your channel. In order to create a playlist, simply go to the video you would like to add to your playlist and click on the “add to” tab underneath any YouTube video. This also includes any videos you have uploaded to your own channel. You can continue to add or remove videos to existing playlists, or create new and different playlists. You can categorize and add titles to your playlists and edit the privacy settings as well. Make sure to save any changes that you make.
To display YouTube videos on your Spontbox channel, sign in to your account on our Spontbox website. On the "Boxes" page, click on "Edit" on the group you want to manage. Select "Add YouTube" and copy and paste the Playlist Url you want to add from YouTube under the "Playlist Url" option. Click on "Save" to successfully upload and stream your playlist videos onto your Spontbox channel.
The Spontbox team is offering free private online training sessions to help our customers learn more about how to manage and optimize your Spontbox account. This session will be held online through an audio screen-sharing experience.
You can book a 20 minute session with us if you or anyone on your team wants training. If you are interested, please call or email us with the date and time you prefer.
